My opinion; Keep in touch with what you want Bryan, don’t let your own decisions and purpose be clouded by the expectations of others. “Not wanting to look like a loser” shouldn’t be a reason for you doing something, you’re a talented guy with a lot to give irrespective of whether or not what you do is line with the expectations of others.

You deserve, just like everyone else, to do what makes you happy with regards when you get up and/or when you write.

Use your heart as your motivation, not the pressure of others.
